What makes you a travel expert?

We consider the travel business more of a lifestyle than a job. With years of collective knowledge first-hand, as well as partnerships within our host agency, we have incredible travel expertise at our fingertrips. Travel conferences like Virtuoso Travel Week, International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), and weekly trainings keep us informed on the ever-changing travel market. SmartFlyer is comprised of 200+ agents globally, who spend a large portion of their time traveling. This strong internal network of discerning advisors (comprised mostly of hardworking, entrepreneurial women) allows us to feel confident in any destination we book. We also lean-into a hand-selected group of Destination Management Companies (DMC’s) who pride themselves on being true experts in their localized regions. They serve as our on-the-ground contacts to help provide high touch service internationally.

This sounds too good to be true. How do you get paid?

Hotels pay Travel Advisors a commission, just as they would pay Expedia or any other platform in which guest’s book. This does not change the rate and is not an additional fee. Beyond hotels, we offer a variety of fee-based services to clients for anything that is not commissionable.

I have a prestigious credit card, won’t I get all the same perks booking through them?

Our rates will always match or top those offered from companies like American Express. Personalized experience is foundational to the luxury travel experience. We provide recommendations based on your travel style, budget, and needs. Prior to your dates of travel, our team personally connects with each property to ensure an elevated stay on your behalf. We’re also available if anything goes differently than planned. So even if some of the “perks” are matched by a credit card, the personal touches far exceed the service from a call center.

Do you book villas?

Yes! We work with a number of different villa companies who hand-select homes throughout the world. (We do not book Airbnb). We also book cruises, safaris, private yachts, etc.

What if I’ve already booked portions of the trip, can you still help?

Yes. We can help to take over reservations to add-in our perks and elevate the overall experience. For properties we’ve booked, we can offer hourly concierge services so that every detail is taken care of. We import everything into our interactive SmartFlyer App for easy access during travel.

Will this cost more than booking my own trip?

It depends on which tier of service you choose. Often we have access to exclusive promotions from our top partnerships with brands like Rosewood, Four Seasons, Auberge, or Aman, so booking with us will save you money. Our bookings include added amenities and priority status that you will not get with generic online search engines. For full service trips, it will cost more than booking on your own, but our clients come to us because they trust our services, our taste, and value their time.

What sort of amenities can you get me?

With many properties you’ll get VIP perks at no additional cost like priority upgrades, complimentary breakfast, spa and dining credits, and customized welcome amenities.
